Lyme Tree House ( Promised Land Cottages)
As can be seen in the Old Map below the House is probably the marked item next to the word Lyme and the other buildings to the left are what are known as the Promised Land Cottages. The photos below are most likely of the cottages due to their closeness to the track
All that remains is a crumbling shippon that formed part of the cottages
A rear view, The walls to the right are well made having dressed curved stone at the corners
In the area next to the shippon can be seen the old kitchen fireplace now partially covered by the fallen walls
